Overview Of Langkawi GEOPARK

Langkawi Geopark is the  first Malaysia’s geopark and it is located in the far northwestern peninsular of Malaysia. Langkawi Geopark located in northern State of Kedah. It is really unique because she is  in the sense formed on 99 islands that together made up the legendary Langkawi Archipelago.

It has the best-exposed and most complete Palaeozoic sedimentary sequence in Malaysia beginning from Cambrian to the Permian period. Later during the Mesozoic, the islands underwent a major tectonic event that resulted in the emplacement of its numerous granitic igneous bodies.

This incredible power generated by nature from the deep mantle beneath the earth has driven up huge blocks of older rocks and somehow placed them above a very much younger terrain.

Holiday in Cook Island

Cook Islands is a group of 15 islands located in the southwest Pacific Ocean. It has a population of 19,000 residents and is stretched across 2,000,000 square kilometers of the Pacific Ocean.

Tourist can easily get around Rarotongo via the round-the-island bus. The bus route the coast road in both directions that originate in both directions. The bus is available throughout the business hours on weekdays and half days during the weekends. If you prefer to take taxis, they are available on Rarotonga and Atiu. If you want to drive around the island yourself, you can rent a car on Rarotonga Aututaki or some other islands. Renting a four wheel drive and motorcycle will allow you to travel into places that are steep and out of the way. In order to drive in Cooks Islands as a tourist, you need to obtain the driver’s permit from the police station in Avarua. Bicycles can also be rented to travel around the islands.

The fastest way to tour around the islands is by the 18 passenger turboprop planes Air Rarotonga that service to and fro between the main island and the southern group islands. The longest hours it takes to tour around the island via the plane is 5 hours and the shortest are under one hour. Other method you can get between the islands is by a yacht or passenger freighter.

Cook Islands is suitable for a family holiday or just married couples that are going for their honeymoon. Cook Islands have beautiful coconut palm trees and sandy white beach. There are many activities that you can do on Cooks Islands such as surfing, diving, and snorkeling on the beach. Since Rarotonga is located on a volcano region, there are continental coral reefs that surround the entire islands. The reefs are sharp so it is necessary to wear reef shoes so that your feet will be protected and not hurt.

Rarotonga experience raining season during the summer. However, the weather around March and April is clearer with less rainfall. These months are a very pleasant time to visit the islands. Holiday seasons such as Thanksgiving and Christmas will bring local families to return home to visit their families therefore if you are planning to visit Cook Islands around the holidays, you should book your air tickets and make your hotel reservation in advance.

The Paradise Island is one of the most beautiful regions in the Bahamas that is filled with luxurious resorts hotels. It is also famous for the beautiful beaches. Cabbage Beach is the most popular beach in the Bahamas that is consistently populated with tourists from around the world every year. Paradise Beach is the nicest beach in the Bahamas. There are many things you can do at Paradise Island. You can go and explore The Retreat national park which is a home to 170 exotic palms. Guided tour is available for free at the national park. You can also request a map so that you can explore the national park yourself. The Dolphin Encounters at Paradise Islands allows you to come face to face with dolphins. With the 30 minute Swim with the Dolphins program, immerse yourselves in the waters while dolphins swim and play around you.

Before you plan your vacation on Paradise Island, make sure you have determined which tourist attractions to visit. The peak tourist period is from December through February. The Spring Break fills the hotels from February to April. For these reasons, the best period to find cheap hotel accommodations in Paradise Island is from May to November.
